Make an impact on future patients

Mental health professions have a negative connotation in one way or another with the general populace, such as seeking out mental health treatment is a sign of weakness or that talking about their problems isn't going to solve anything; however this platform can be a way for you to help break that stigma.

While we understand that most of our visitors are searching for therapeutic art activities in order to handle daily stress, we know that there are some that are looking for a non-intimidating, user friendly way to begin to address significant mental and/or emotional trauma due to various reasons.

This is where your perspective and insight comes in.

We want to highlight your expertise so that it can be a shining beacon of light to those who can benefit from it the most. It is a side mission of ours here at Art Heals Minds to help change the stigma so that instead of viewing practitioners as strangers to fear that they're personable, relatable people who want to be an asset in their mental wellbeing toolbox.

If this is something that is a mutual interest for you, please join us and become an AHM Art Therapist Contributor!
